Dr. Jane Paulsen, PhD – Lead Principal Investigator

Dr. Paulsen is a Professor of Neurology with tenure at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. She was previously the Roy J. Carver Chair in Neurosciences at the University of Iowa, and began her academic career in the Departments of Psychiatry and Neurosciences at UCSD. Her career interests include Huntington’s Disease and vascular dementia research.

Elizabeth Penziner – Research Program Manager

Elizabeth Penziner is a Research Program Manager in the Department of Neurology at the University of Wisconsin. She has degrees in Health Promotion and Public Health and has been involved in genetic research throughout her career. Her work, under Dr. Paulsen’s direction in Huntington’s Disease at the University of Iowa, has been published and presented internationally. Current projects include PREVENT-HD and CADASIL, studies of Huntington’s Disease and vascular dementia.
